John, Lydia, Ringo Starr, & His All-Starr Band

I'm not going to lie, part of the reason I wanted to see Ringo Starr live was that we recently saw Paul McCartney and I wanted to complete my living Beatle collection.

Ernie had a meal and then Aunt Zoe watched him while we headed to Chateau Ste. Michelle Winery in  Woodinville for the show. Aunt Zozo is staying with us all month to help out, hang, and mostly be severely jealous that she eventually has to go back to St. Louis.

I thought we got decent seats considering we rolled in pretty late and it was a first-come-first-serve type situation. I knew Ringo had a few Beatles bangers, including lead vocals on "Yellow Submarine." I would have been happy with those songs and some whatever filler. Ringo Starr & His All-Starr Band, though, actually had some real musicians in it from other classic bands that I've heard of. They played some of their own hits which was very cool. For example, Edgar Winter from the Edgar Winter Group helped them play "Free Ride", Steve Lukather from Toto played "Africa".

Having all of those other guys up there with him did lend a bit of mystery as to exactly what the hell they were going to play next. Ringo thought that was funny as well apparently.

Someone had this baby sitting in the parking lot.

Big boy just keeps getting bigger and bigger.
