Ernie was looking extra cute in his jamjams after waking up from a nap today and was moving around a lot.
Ernie just did a did a lot of video-worthy antics today, I don't know what else to tell you. Plus all the costume changes. Sometimes I don't change my clothes for 4 or 5 days. This kid wears 5 outfits a day depending on how much he pukes or poops on himself. It must be nice, tell you what.
Around this time I could tell that Ernie was losing his sucking reflex. I didn't realize that this was a reflex that a baby ever loses but me not realizing things were going to happen is becoming a pretty regular occurrence these days. Well as he lost his sucking reflex it started to become clear that he doesn't really prefer bottles much when compared to breast feeding. You can see in this clip he's started sort of chewing on the bottle nipple, talking, and just generally treating the bottle as a toy rather than food. Staying up late and bottle feeding Ernie has sort of been my thing and a big chunk of the time that I get to spend with him one on one, so this development was a bit of a sad one for me.
