The Ailing Glacier of Kenai Fjords

We spent our last full day in Alaska taking it easy but having seeing a few more sights.

This is the sort of psychological warfare you can expect if you try to take a rest on your vacation with these two.

We stopped in this fish and chips joint but a three piece halibut was $54. We didn't end up eating here.

I feel like this was a sign for us to go back to Japan.

Kenai Fjords National Park was actually a little depressing.

There was a glacier but the thing was sadly in retreat. I saw a lot of pictures where it was down the valley and we could have walked around on top of it. I was glad that we had that plane glacier adventure and that this wasn't our only look at one.

There were signs with dates on them everywhere which I assume is how far the glacier stretched at that time.

Back at the airbnb I admired by bottle of birch syrup. I'll never let anyone hurt you.
