DTF

It's a little bit embarrassing but I like walking around in malls for fun. I like the hustle and bustle and the people watching. I feel like I'm also keeping track of our culture somehow with clothing styles and what-have-you.

Both Toys R Us and FAO Schwarz seem to be creepily zombified in the Bellevue Square mall's basement.

I'm not sure how the Japanese feel about putting ice cream in the mouth of a taiyaki waffle fish, but I vote yes.

We've heard good things about Din Tai Fung. I think I was desperate to get a reservation because I booked the location in University Village, which is definitely not the closest one to our house.

It's a Taiwanese joint that specializes in soup dumplings. Now far be it from me to brag, but we've actually had soup dumplings in Taiwan on a food tour.

The gyoza are exotic because they seem to purposely add a layer of crunchy dough connecting them all together.
