Ghosts of Nebula

Ernie is a big library fan.

Ern's so spoiled he needs snacks while being carted around. MUST BE NICE.

Lydia, I, and our friend Christopher went to an immersive show called "Ghosts of Nebula" at the historic Georgetown Steam Plant. It was pretty cool. There was some fun special effects. There was a time-loop type thing where we saw a character enter a door from afar during one scene then later on that character entered the room we were in through that same door... sort of closing the loop. I thought that was a cool story telling device the illustrated that time was not acting normally in the dream world we had entered.

It was also a fun opportunity to explore the Georgetown Steam Plant which is a very interesting building with cool stories to tell in its own right. I love immersive shows so much.

We had a beer at Jellyfish Brewing Company to discuss the adventure we'd had togther before heading home.

Potty People

Ernie's principle at his school told Lydia that he is "so cognitively advanced. She asked him what was on his shirt and he said "boo". Even compared to the kids 6 months older than him he has way more language."

Ernie's training potty came in the mail today. A new chapter unfolds.

We got very familiar with the thing. Was it a chair? A hat? Nobody knows.

I have a life rule where if a bar sells these baby Miller High Lifes I am obligated to buy one. They're just so fun.

I went to a Halloween party at Miriam's house today. We hit Lottie's Lounge afterward and bumped into a couple of people from the party. This guy was dressed like late rapper MF DOOM.

Trunk or Treat and Rock

Lydia's school was having a trunk or treat thing in the parking lot so we suited up and made an appearance.

I thought the Candy Land car was especially fun.

Zoe's... coworker or friend or something is in a band and we went to Bad Bar in Seattle to check them out. "Bonney Rubble is a Seattle-based Doomgaze band that fuses the worlds of shoegaze, post-rock and doom metal."

Friends, Romans, countrymen, lend me your ears.

I'm not sure where the hell I even was at this point but I can confidently tell you I was drinking a Lucky Envelope creation. They're the best.
