Ern the Technophile

Ern has been having fun and making friends at school.

My mom liked this picture so much she has it framed in her house.

Ern wanted to play with my computer so I've been giving him a spare keyboard to pound his hammy fists upon.

He will also snatch your phone if you aren't watching.

We visited the robot at the Tesla store in Bellevue Square Mall.

I got a little champagne education at Total Wine & More today. Typically champagnes are made of a blend of three grapes: Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier. Well this particular bottle is made from 100% Chardonnay grapes, and so is called "blanc de blancs", literally "white from whites".

Sick Day

Ernie was sick today so I watched him at home instead of him going to daycare.

Snotty man

We have a large cardboard box wedged between the recliner and the wall to keep Ern away from the heat vent. So he doesn't burn his lil fingies.

We threw a ball around a bit. Just normal best dad in the world stuff.

But it wasn't all play. We also watched an educational documentary on the life of Ric Flair. We practiced how to do our "Woo!"s.

Later we went to Bellevue Square Mall and Ern checked out the Tesla Cybertrucks.

Ernin' Around Bellevue

Big Ern spent some more quality time with his grandparents today.

Ern was really giving her an examination today.

We had some junk food at the Bellevue Square Mall foodcourt. A funny problem that Ernie had is that he can eat something in his fist down to a nub but then he can't get to the last bit.

Ern is lucky to have a nice family.

Ramen then Some Horsin Around

We packed this Sunday full of all kinds of diversions.

Today for lunch we popped over to the Bellevue branch of Hokkaido Ramen Santouka.

Ernie was having a time just playing with the menu.

The food at this restaurant is good and they have very bitable tables.

Nana’s Green Tea

I've been wanting Ernie to try this horse and potatoes baby food we picked up in Italy. I tried it with him. It was not great.

Pairing that with some Dom Pérignon really added the giddyup that the meal needed.
