We had Lydia's Mom, Doug, and our Salvadoran friends Marcella and Andres over to our place for Thanksgiving this year.
There was a frozen bag of guts situation.
I believe the green bean casserole was my responsibility. The older I get the more I realize most of my mom's favorite recipes involved a can of Campbell's soup and some other stuff mixed in. That's pretty much my understanding of American home cooking.
