Surrounded by Jerks and Clowns

Lydia continued to be out of town so it was up to me to explore the city of Seattle.

The first home game of the Seattle Kraken was fast approaching. I was getting pretty excited to work it!

For dinner I headed to Belltown's Jerk Shack.

I sipped on a Caribbean cocktail while I waited for my food. "Vincey Rum Punch - From St. Vincent Island - Caribbean Rum, key lime, pineapple, fresh OJ, Caribbean bitters"

They were actually all out of the jerk chicken that I had come here for, but I made do with a plate of jerk smoked ribs instead.

Then I just bounced around the area poking my head in any place that seemed like it had a good vibe. Why not Lava Lounge?

Here I had a "Lava Lava Colada - light rum, pineapple, and coconut cream". An unofficial theme of the night seemed like it might be taking shape.

Shorty's is a pretty unique spot. It's like a dive bar pinball joint that also sells hot dogs with an interior covered in clowns.

Rainier Beer is sort of like the local PBR.

I like it when these places repurpose old pinball tables into.. regular tables.
