So Oniony

It was our last morning in Riverview Campground and time to break camp.

We noticed that there seemed to be some movement under our tent.

I'm still not quite sure what this creature was. It seemed too long to be just a normal mouse.

We poked around in Mt. Vernon, Illinois on the drive home.

I fancy myself as a gentleman forager these days. This time it was wild onions on the menu. It turns out they are really small and a lot of work to mess with.

I love how this recipe calls for a "mess of wild onions". What the heck does that mean?

I made scrambled eggs with them. I think there was a faint onion taste but in the future I think I'll be letting the onions run wild in their natural free range habitat.
