We didn't do a ton in Roatan today. Lydia was rolling around in bed dying from food poisoning and I was catching up on some homework for my master's program.
Las Verandas Hotel was lovely as long as you didn't leave your room.
Lydia was able to animate her mostly dead body enough to leave the hotel finally for dinner at a real restaurant outside of of the hellscape we were staying at. At Romeo's Restaurant she just ordered plain noodles because she was afraid she would puke anything else back up.
The place did have a nice view of Roatan's French Harbour.
On our way out of the restaurant I had a really nice long conversation with the owner. He had some Italian ancestry and had also claimed Italian citizenship. This place was so real that it had its own fishing boats.
