A Stroll Around Fort Belle Fontaine

Today we explored Fort Belle Fontaine, which is currently part of the St. Louis County park system. The fort is significant for being the "first U.S. military installation west of the Mississippi, in the newly acquired Louisiana Territory, and served as a starting point for many expeditions to the American West".

We got a new automatic hand sanitizer dispenser in our apartment building. This is the sort of thing that we get excited about these days.

My Apple Watch has a function where it will let you tell your phone to take a picture remotely. One issue is I don't have a tripod so my pics are all low to the ground. Hmm... I'll have to think of some improvements.

I've been wanting to take a picture with the giant Vess bottle for a while but it's kind of in an awkward place by the highway. Well now that the world is over we had plenty of time to walk on over.
