Castlewood Just Like You Should

Just another day in post-apocalypse paradise.

We've been wiping down all of our groceries with alcohol to kill the germs. With produce it gets complicated. We haven't been buying things that you can't either peel or cook. Salads for example are off the menu for the time being. Here Lydia is sterilizing some limes.

After being reminded of the pleasures of trying to cook food on an open fire during our first covid era camp trip, we bought a grill. It's nice and compact and fits in the trunk nicely.

Castlewood State Park occupies 1,818 acres that straddle the Meramec River in St. Louis County, Missouri. The park has a history of drownings, with 12 people getting got since 2004. Luckily I did not bring my swim trunks.

Did some more experimenting with my watch's remote photo feature. It's difficult to get a decent picture with it but it's still fun to play with.

This fungus looked kind of like delicious roast beef.
