One of Ern's jobs is to make sure every rock surrounding Lake Washington is returned to the water.

Ernie made sure everyone knows he's a real fresh Italian over at Totem Lake's Due' Cucina.

Parenting is bittersweet because I know he’s not mine forever and one day he’ll leave and make his own life.

We were sitting on the balcony and having an idyllic moment with Ernie and Lydia made the observation that we used to buy fancy beers to drink at home and the bars were full of Budweiser but now the bar beer is fancy pants and Bud Light only happens at home. You can’t even buy bud light at the ballpark!

Ernie said his first full sentence today. I was having my Bud Light on the porch and he walked out with his cup and said “cheers dada”. He loves cheersing and it’s not strange for him to do it 10 times a meal.
