Ern Returns to the Stars

Baby Ernie already has some space travel experience under his belt so he was not nervous about venturing once again into the unknown.

Every serious explorer knows how important it is to stay hydrated.

Ern has been learning how to crawl. He's better at some parts than others. He understands the idea but often just ends up swaying back and forth or accidentally moving in reverse. He is very persistent though and frequently practices, I'll give him credit for that.

Our friends Kuoling and Jason invited us to this immersive pop up thing at Seattle Chinese Garden. I had never been to the garden before so that was an added bonus.

WE’RE ALWAYS TOLD TO REACH FOR THE STARS,
BUT WHAT IF THE STARS COULD REACH FOR US?
The stars are descending from the night sky. Set off across mysterious grounds to discover a celestial pathway of lustrous light, cosmic visions, and astral song. Immerse yourself in illuminating encounters of lighting, projection and sound, and connect with the stars before they return to the sky above.

Astra Lumina had a video game feel at times. There were different trippy stations that you followed a path through towards the finish line.

Seeing Big Ern's reactions to things adds a level of fun to like every part of human existence.

Ernie's jaw drop at this crazy disco light area was worth the price of admission alone. I actually walked faster through this part because it was intense to the point of being disorienting.
