I popped over to Springfield, Illinois to see the fam real quick before the big move.
The pandemic has cause supply chain issues, including with new cars. So there's a lot of eerily empty car dealerships sitting around.
We had dinner at the Old Luxemburg Inn. It is a delightfully old school Springfield establishment.
You gotta love when a restaurant proudly proclaims: "Service is slow!!"
The menu item I always go for is a fried lobster tail. They fry the shell and the meat inside! It's like where fine dining meets State Fair.
My family was I think puzzled by my decision to move to Seattle but they were kind about giving me a good send off.
