National Park Views

Today was a day full of some amazing views.

There were some incredible views from the road that made the long hours of driving a lot of fun.

As if the views from the road weren't magical enough, things were about to kick up a notch at Black Canyon of the Gunnison National Park. Website:

"Big enough to be overwhelming, still intimate enough to feel the pulse of time, Black Canyon of the Gunnison exposes you to some of the steepest cliffs, oldest rock, and craggiest spires in North America. With two million years to work, the Gunnison River, along with the forces of weathering, has sculpted this vertical wilderness of rock, water, and sky."

I really need to start remembering to bring a tripod on these trips. Propping my phone up with a rock often leads to less than perfect pictures.
