Missouri's First Capitol

With our new Missouri state park quest in mind, we quickly moved to rack up some points.

Historic St. Charles is a favorite place of ours to take a stroll, so it was a pleasure to return here to visit the First Missouri State Capitol State Historic Site. The building served as Missouri's capitol from 1821 to 1826.

A bright spot in this pandemic situation that I am frequently reminded of is that I am not a school age person. It would be brutal to miss an important year of school or a life milestone sort of event like senior year sports or something. I don't agree that this is a reason for children to be in school, mind you, but I do sympathize.

Boredom must be setting in because I seriously considered buying this bird feeder that you put in your windowsill.
