Her highness Lydia finally signed up for the covid vaccine but on a different day as mine. So I got to drive down to scenic Poplar Bluff, Missouri for the second time this week.
Perhaps the funnest fact about Poplar Bluff is that it is home to the largest US nail manufacturer.
I had a celebratory pin ready for Lydia to wear when she got back from the poking.
We took a nice stroll in historic downtown Poplar Bluff.
This place looked so cool. I love old movie theaters. They have an air of grandeur not like nothing else, especially in a small rural town. The Rodgers Theatre Building was built in 1949 with Art Deco and Art Moderne stylistic elements.
