9th Annual Pumpkin Beer Tasting

Today we hosted our 9th Annual Pumpkin Beer Tasting.

To make things extra spooky Lydia insisted that we crack open some of the prosciutto baby food that we brought back from Italy. She has very strange tastes indeed. She said "it tastes like if you had deli meat chicken and you ground it up and made it into like yogurt". Which I feel like is suspiciously close to just a description of what it is.

 

We cleaned and set the stage for fun times.

Our German friends brought us some amazingly weird Haribo variations from the old country.

Cora the explora was in attendance.

Many pumpkins were harmed in the making of this party.

Halloween Everywhere

Ernie's school had a Halloween event so we rolled up for a few treats.

Ern and his teacher were twinning today.

A big hit were these little colored lights that fit on your finger.

Ern was playing with his new little light toy before nap time.

We attended Tract-or-Treat at Infinity Farm in Issaquah, Washington.

"Trick or Treat event featuring eastside vendors, food trucks, and farm animals."

Most memorably it was featuring a big hungry cow that we could feed.

There was a chicken hanging out in the bathroom.

We had dinner at Macky’s Dim Sum in Issaquah.

I went to a Halloween party later at my friend Roger's house.

I've been playing Disco Elysium. It's a masterpiece. It's so funky and unique and has amazingly weird and humorous writing. I can't imagine this publisher or anyone else will be able to make a game quite like this one ever again.

Trunk or Treat and Rock

Lydia's school was having a trunk or treat thing in the parking lot so we suited up and made an appearance.

I thought the Candy Land car was especially fun.

Zoe's... coworker or friend or something is in a band and we went to Bad Bar in Seattle to check them out. "Bonney Rubble is a Seattle-based Doomgaze band that fuses the worlds of shoegaze, post-rock and doom metal."

Friends, Romans, countrymen, lend me your ears.

I'm not sure where the hell I even was at this point but I can confidently tell you I was drinking a Lucky Envelope creation. They're the best.
