The Job is Dead. Long Live the Job!

My last day at my job at PillarRx had arrived.

The heehaw republican governor of Missouri divied up the vaccine supply based on county despite the fact that there are many counties where no one lives, and those that do often don't want the vaccine anyway. There's been a lot of criticism as a result.

I logged off my work computer for the last time. We've been a remote workplace since I returned from Kenya in March, so it's super weird to just log off and that be the end of it. In normal times we would have had a farewell party. Oh well.

We farted around Broadway at the Beach again. It's such a nice place.

Lydia got a new job too so we got some celebratory treats for her.

Another Day at PillarRx

The view through my office window at PillarRx in O'Fallon is nice because it's very scenic and natural.

This particular day it snowed just enough that the sun melted it all quickly enough that it was like watching the seasons move in fast-forward.

My boss was in town from Milwaukee so a few of us went to eat at Ethyl's Smokehouse & Saloon after work.

I was amused by challenging people to exercise competitions on my handy dandy new Apple Watch and dominating them.
