Numerous Gifts

Today at school Ern did an art project where you put paper in a container and cover marbles in paint then shake them around to make a picture? I think that's how it works.

Ernie is such a messy eater that they seem to be stripping him before they serve meals.

Big Ern got more packages from his grandmothers today.

He got some toys from Lydia Gram and

a fun Christmas ornament from Johnny Gram.

Ajwa Daters and Italian Haters

Back home from our epic tour of the Middle East we settled in to eat the 50 pounds of dates we lugged back and open our mail.

Ernie the Fetus Troll likes to hang out on one side of Lydia's belly to the point that she looks all lopsided.

I bought Lydia the official 2022 White House Christmas ornament to commemorate our tour of the West Wing.

Lydia opened all of the baby shower gifts for Ernie.

One of the few gifts I got was a traffic ticket from Pisa, Italy crying about me driving down the wrong street without a permit. Maybe they should get that tower straightened out before they go around judging other people.

We were hungry so we did what anyone would do: buy a pizza box full of tacos.

A Couch Betrayal Most Foul

Lydia betrayed me and our loyal 20 year old couch and called someone to take it away because she bought a new one. I hear that there's a nice farm where they take good couches to retire and play with other couches.

Once Old Red was carried away we got the new one in place. It's kind of made out of giant blocks that all snap together.

Once I had some time to reflect I realized that we have quite a few alcohol related Christmas ornaments. I personally think that this is healthy and fine.

Lydia continues to have a person in her stomach. It looks and sounds rather uncomfortable.

Christmas Tree Oh, Christmas Tree

We put the Christmas tree up and decorated it.

YouTube understands my priorities.

I bought a Missouri State Park ornament to commemorate our year of parkiness.

This one I think came from the Hamlet castle in Denmark.

We got this one at a clam chowder festival at the flagship L.L. Bean store in Maine.

Lydia has some sort of hoarder sickness and thought that we needed two Christmas trees.

Luckily the gods intervened.
