Today Ern really got scrubbed up because we had lots of pictures to take.
Big Ern was now a big 11 months old. I don't like that one bit. To make matters worse this distinguished blog author is 39 and 11 months old. The denial over here is at levels never before seen.
No sooner had we finished celebrating 11 months we turned around and started celebrating Ern's first Easter.
We put snacks in the Easter eggs as motivation but he was still only mildly interested.
It was such a nice day that we didn't want to ruin it with physical activity. We did a search for breweries with good patios and made a visit to Project 9 Brewing Company.
Later at Bizarre Brewing Ernie snagged his very first bite of pizza. Not a bad day at all.
Then at home I popped open the chocolate colomba pasquale I bought at Eataly on our New York trip. Wikipedia says "(lit. 'Easter dove') is an Italian traditional Easter bread, the Easter counterpart of the two well-known Italian Christmas desserts, panettone and pandoro."
Not too shabby.
