Lydia turned 30 so we threw her a 1920s themed murder mystery birthday party. I was worried that people wouldn't be into it or would be annoyed at having to dress up, but our friends came to party. Some of them bought whole costumes just for the affair.
I bought Lydia this fancy custom cake from a friend of a friend. I think she liked it.
My character was a really cool mob boss and I had several henchmen running around. I was so busy setting up for the party and sneaking around with the flamingo cake that I didn't have time to fully read my instructions and so had only like half of an idea about what the hell was happening. I definitely wish I had a do-over. Oh well.
I may or may not have fallen asleep early and been trolled while slumbering.
