Crab Pie and Roller Skating

On the plane back from Maine I whipped out my copy of the Fisherman's Voice and read about such riveting topics as lobster fishing licenses, bait fish, and boat paint.

There was a recipe that caught my eye: Swiss pie with crab meat sauce. 

So I made real my dream.

Buying crab in a can feels a little like cheating. Half the fun is smashing an animal into pieces to get the meat out.

It effectively turned out as a cheesy quiche with crab meat sauce on the side. It was pretty good.

To celebrate my fantastic newfound seafood pie baking majesty we went to a Stranger Things themed skate party situation at St. Louis Skatium which is apparently a place.
