I bought a big bag of kava in Vanuatu and lugged it across the world so that I could make Seago drink it when I returned. It was definitely worth the effort.
US Customs pulled this out of my backpack and asked me if it was coffee. I told them it was an herbal drink. Which was true. Hurray!
There was a lot of water and mixing and straining going on and things got out of hand.
We all agree that the original taste of Vanuatu is awfully close to mud.
