Lydia, Zoe, and I all went to Portland, Maine for the weekend.
We had a connection in Baltimore which was cool because then we flew up the east coast and saw a lot of cities at night.
I was especially excited to see New York from the plane. I could make out the lights of Times Square and Central Park.
While we were waiting for our luggage at the Portland International Jetport I flipped through a few tourist brochures. Lydia wasn't very enthused but there was no way I was going to miss the world's only life size chocolate moose. I added it to our day planner for tomorrow.
Downtown Portland was popping with college kids hitting the bars. One of the few restaurants still open was Blue Rooster Food Co.. They were rocking these tater tots with fun toppings.
I went with the Three Little Pigs, which was tater tots topped with cheese curds, gravy, bacon, sausage, and pork belly. Zoe is vegan but I saw her eyeing my order longingly when she thought I wasn't looking.
Night one was in the bag.
