Onesie Bar Crawl

It was time for the annual Onesie Bar Crawl. This year we continued our tradition of just showing up at the bars wearing our onesies and not actually paying to participate. Sorry for party rocking.

Got some crooning done at Carson's, as is traditional.

Sometimes when you mess with the lion you get the claws.

Big Daddy's had inexplicably tiny beer pong happening outside in the tent.

Beer nerd trivia: Big Daddy's was once the headquarters for the Koch and Feldkamp Brewery, which didn't survive prohibition. Louis Koch's great-great-grandson Jim Koch (founder of Sam Adams' Boston Beer Company) found the recipe for his beer that was brewed in St. Louis, and the rest is history. You're welcome, Boston.

Soulard Onesie Bar Crawl Strikes Back

We had so much fun at last year's Soulard Onesie Bar Crawl, also we bought onesies and so need to use them as many times as possible, in accounting that's known as a fixed cost and so the more times we wear them the "per wear cost" goes down on average, as opposed to say beer which in this case is more of a variable cost in that we buy it every time we go out, anyway we went to the bar crawl again. Fun was had.

Soulard Onesie Bar Crawl

What's even more fun than bar hopping in Soulard? Bar hopping in Soulard while dressed in an animal onesie.

It took the girls about 10 minutes before they met another pair wearing the exact same thing. Awkward!

Zoe took some good pictures and videos for her Snapagram or whatever the kids are doing these days.

Wearing a onesie was a perfect way to conceal a quart of rum I had tied around my neck with some ribbon. A scout is thrifty, after all.
