Lydia's mom is in town visiting and rather than just do the same ol' Seattle stuff with her Lydia came up with a cool idea to book a cabin in the boonies and explore a different part of the state for a change.
I drove with Zoe along a little road cut into the Cascade Mountains by a little river on the way to Baring, WA.
It was fun because there was a string of tiny little towns along the road. This bar looked like it had a lot of character so we made an unscheduled pit stop. Not only were the towns tiny but they had funny names like Gold Bar and Startup. The sort of names you'd give to a race horse. This bar was in a town called Index.
The place was very nautical themed. The bar people were very welcoming and told us to come back on karaoke night. Maybe, maybe.
We made it to the cabin and were greeted appropriately.
Once these wild girls get started there isn't enough beer and puzzles in the world to keep them satisfied.
