Hikes and Bugs

Dr. Edmund A. Babler Memorial State Park, near Wildwood, was created by his brother Jacob Babler. Babler, which is really fun to say, donated so much money that he is known as "Father of Missouri's State Parks".

I think that this is a horned passalus. It was real shiny.

This ant had a nice worm donut treat.

There was an odd.. structure right off the trail. Someone funny scratched the mysterious numbers from Lost, I think referencing the hatch from the show.

My cousin Caleb's 40th birthday arrived and they asked for videos to make into a covid birthday slideshow. I had to bring my A-game.

That's a big ol Babler right there.
