Happy Hour Sodies

Ernie took his grandparents out for a few happy hour brewskies after work at nearby Chainline Brewing Company.

There was a lovely sunset over Lake Washington.

Lion Dance After Dark

Getting tired of sunsets over Lake Washington seems to be beyond my capacity. It's fun how many people in different life stages mingle over here as well.

Back in the Kirkland Urban area we caught some Lunar New Year lion dances.

These were even more fun than the previous dances I've seen, and had some acrobatic stuff going on as well as cool neon lights.

Sunset Beach

Another sunny day by the beach. I'm kind of digging this work vacation trip format. If we were on a month long actual vacation I would be the walking dead by the time it was over. We go pretty hard on our trips. This, though, can be a leisurely thing and I don't have to feel bad that we aren't wringing every drop out of our vacation days because: we aren't even using any vacation days! This is just a more fun version of normal life.

My North Myrtle Beach stilt town.

Work followed by a sunset walk on the beach. What the heck else do you want?

That's what I'm talking about! It's about time for another sweet sweet gubmint check.
