Floridian Christmas

I still hadn't put enough miles on the rental car, so we drove back down to Naples for Christmas with the Florida fam. Fun was had by all.

We got to shoot bb guns, and not a single eye was shot out. Those things have advanced quite a bit since I last played with them, and I don't think I would enjoy getting shot by one at all.

When the Christmastime marksmanship course had concluded, we said our goodbyes and hit the road. I had initially budgeted a few days time in the Naples area, but since everyone was already way past sick of me we had a couple free days to burn. The trusty guidebook said Sanibel and Captiva Islands were cool, so that's where we went.

Sanibel was like a less annoying version of Key West. The shops were much more quaint and the whole place felt a lot quieter. By the time we arrived at the famous seashell filled beaches it was pitch black out, so we walked by iPhone light.
